OUR STORY
In 2011, we planted a small wooded area for our disabled son, Zac, who has always loved being outdoors and surrounded by nature. Since then, this special part of the smallholding has always been known as “Zac’s Wood”.
In 2018, our granddaughter camped in the wood and loved the peaceful atmosphere so much that she suggested we open a campsite for others to enjoy too.

After plenty of thought, we decided to give it a try, and in 2019 we welcomed our first campers for the start of our very first season. Since then, it has been wonderful to share this little corner of the countryside with others, and we hope it brings our guests as much enjoyment and relaxation as it has brought to our family over the years.

The campsite includes a composting toilet and shower, along with a dedicated campfire area where guests can relax in the evenings. Plenty of firewood is provided to help make your stay even more enjoyable.
We look forward to welcoming both new and returning campers and hope everyone enjoys the peaceful surroundings and friendly atmosphere here at West Field Farm Camping.
THE FARM
We are a working smallholding with cows and calves, horses, pigs, sheep, chickens and ducks.
ENTRY INTO THE FIELDS CONTAINING LIVESTOCK IS PROHIBITED AT ALL TIMES and dogs must be kept on a lead at all times.
We can supply home produced sausages, bacon, burgers and sometimes steak or chops.
Fruit and vegatables are available when in season, these are all grown in our large garden. We can also provide eggs, cakes and fruit pies.
We have laundry facilities near the house for a small charge and a hot water tap outside

Owners can't do enough for you, very nice people!
They sell eggs and bacon etc at their farm shop. The van is basic yes, but everything is perfectly clean and stocked. The bed is super cute and clean. Having a fire pit outside is awesome. I haven't had a fire for a number of years so it took me right back to when I lived in a yurt. I absolutely adore this place! A rare find.

Lovely old caravan, very comfortable, on a peaceful quiet site away from technology. Fire pit available, the composting toilet was an experience. Vanessa and John were very welcoming and friendly. The homemade cake, fresh eggs and tomatoes were lovely.
